Zwingenberg is a town with approx. 7500 inhabitants, located 50 km south of Frankfurt and about 40 km north of Heidelberg.

It belongs to a region called "Hessische Bergstraße", a small wine region where mostly Riesling is grown.

The beautiful old town of Zwingenberg is well-known; many half-timbered houses and above all the extraordinary position at the slope are distinguishing the townscape. From the Bergkirche (hill church), you'll have a wonderful view down into the Rhine plain. A walk at the Randweg (edge way) and through the vineyards is also highly recommendable.
