SurTec 431

Acidic electrolytical pickle, specially developed for the de-scaling of stainless steels before electropolishing. The fluoride free composition of the acids has been matched to the electrolyte system SurTec 459. As a result, the electropolishing process can take place immediately without intermediate rinsing. There is no danger of embrittlement due to the optimum anodic operation conditions of the pickle.

SurTec 419

Liquid additive for alkaline electrolytical cleaning and descaling baths, free of hard complexing agents as EDTA, NTA, soluble even in high alkalinity. SurTec 400 C

Chelating agent for masking of aluminium(III)-ions in alkaline solutions. Suitable for service life extension of E0 pickling baths or for replenishment of overloaded E6 pickling baths. In E0 pickles, aluminium concentrations up to 50 g/l can be stabilised with caustic soda, without the building of aluminate stone.

In comparison with SurTec 495, SurTec 495 L is significantly easier and more safe to dose:
- SurTec 495 L does not lead to dust exposure when added
- stirring into the solution is faster
- no separate addition of sulphuric acid required, SurTec 495 L already contains the needed value of sulphuric acid in the concentrate.
SurTec 496

Wetting agent for ABS pickling, resistant to chromic acid, liquid to viscous additive. Produces a foam evenly distributed on top of the bath surface to prevent chromic acid aerosols, fast wetting effect on the parts which leads to an uniform pickling attack, reduces the surface tension, even at low concentrations and reduces the consumption of chromic acid.
