SurTec, a medium-sized supplier of surface treatment products, officially places today the foundation stone to its new building in Zwingenberg, Germany. Offices, conference room, laboratories, production and stock will find their place in here.

SurTec is proud of its own product development - and the new building also is representing a research project. For the first time, a factory is constructed completely as a Passive House, this means, there won't be a real heating; only internal heat, sourced by technical processes, and of course solar energy, above all in the area of the Atrium with its large-scale glazing, will be used.

SurTec GmbH

SurTec GmbH developes, produces and distributes products and processes for the surface treatment, especially industrial cleaning, as well as the pretreatment, electroplating and posttreatment of surfaces.

Actually, offices and laboratories are located in Trebur (Hessen), but production, stock and quality control are situated in a separate site in Bammental (Baden-Württemberg). This separation shall be closed by the new building in Zwingenberg.

SurTec's chemical processes for surface treatment are used in the automotive manufacturing, the construction industry, in the electric and electronic industry, in the manufacturing of aircraft and machinery.
