SurTec South Africa Pty. Ltd. was founded in 2006 as a local organisation with administration, laboratory and warehouse. It has offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban providing coverage to customers all over the country.

SurTec develops, manufactures and supplies chemical specialities for surface finishing. With its five fields of application Industrial Parts Cleaning, Metal Pre-treatment, Functional Coatings as well as Functional and Decorative Electroplating, SurTec covers the full portfolio in this sector. SurTec is a supplier for almost all segments dealing with surface treatment, including Automotive, Transportation, Construction, Electronics & Electrical and Healthcare & Lifestyle.

The SurTec Group, headquartered in Bensheim, Germany, has subsidiaries in 22 countries with about 550 employees. It also cooperates with partners who represent SurTec in more than 20 additional countries.

To guarantee consistently high product quality, independent of place of manufacture, all production facilities worldwide operate in compliance within internationally recognised standards.
