Dry lubrication is always a good choice for industrial applications that require a clean, durable lubrication film. Anti-Friction Coatings can be used at particularly low and high temperatures up to 600°C. They are therefore ideal for use in harsh conditions such as vacuum or aerospace.
Unlike other lubricants, an Anti-Friction Coating offers the advantage of forming a uniform, solid and dry layer on the component. This clean lubrication layer is not washable, cannot be thrown out of the lubrication gap and does not need to be replaced (i.e. lifetime lubrication).
Anti-Friction Coatings offer many advantages in variable temperatures, applications with special hygiene requirements or highly loaded industrial machine elements compared to conventional oils, pastes and greases. The special SurTec tribo coatings help you optimize the friction coefficients and sliding properties of your components and enable longer tool life.

PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are chemical compounds used in many industrial applications but have become increasingly focused due to their environmental and health risks. Although PFAS is not generally prohibited, we are committed to developing innovative Anti-Friction Coatings that do not require PFAS at all, yet provide the highest performance. This will help us stay ahead of the future and prepare us for possible future regulations.
