Chemical deburring offers many advantages over other deburring processes. The chemical process for removing burrs and particles is particularly advantageous when components have a complicated geometry and in areas which are difficult to access mechanically. Burrs, splinters and other particles appear during the machining of metallic workpieces. For example, during milling or turning processes. For the further processing of the workpiece burrs can lead to significant damage and can even cause a failure of entire units. For this reason, deburring is an important step in the process chain.
With the expansion of the Industrial Parts Cleaning business unit to include chemical deburring processes, SurTec will be exhibiting at the DeburringExpo 2019 for the first time. The leading trade fair for deburring technologies and precision surfaces will take place from October 8 to 10, 2019 at the Karlsruhe Exhibition Center, Germany.
